Sacred geometry ·
Ethically made for
free spirits

Sacred geometry for beautifully unordinary humans. Every GeoVinty piece starts as a thrifted find, gets bleached, hand-cut and stitched back together in a Cape Town studio, built around the geometry Maryann can’t stop drawing. No two are ever the same.

The artist

Hello, I’m Maryann.

I got tired of scrolling past the same patterns on every rack, and I could not find the European-style festival fashion I loved anywhere in South Africa. So I started making my own.

GeoVinty is what happens when thrifted garments meet bleach, scissors and a slight obsession with sacred geometry, the Flower of Life, Metatron’s cube, the Japanese asanoha pattern. I cut, weave and hand-finish every piece myself, from crop tops and leggings to waistcoats built from scratch.

Nothing is mass-produced, and I am still learning something new with every one.

Coming soon...

One home for everything sacred geometry.

The shop is expanding into pieces for the body, the home and the wonderfully curious. Clothing today, wall hangings, 3D prints and ornaments soon, GeoVinty is slowly becoming a one-stop shop for anyone who wears their vibration. Every listed piece ships through the Yaga store; tap through to reserve it before someone else does, since it really is one of a kind.

Flower of Life pattern in GeoVinty brand colours

Studio note · 01

Why the Flower of Life keeps finding its way into my work

The Flower of Life has always been my favourite sacred geometric pattern. It is made from a series of evenly spaced, overlapping circles that can keep building outward, forming a flower-like grid.

Within that simple structure, you can find the foundations of many other geometric forms. It becomes a blueprint for more complex sacred geometry, including Metatron’s Cube and the Merkaba.

For me, the pattern symbolises creation, connection and the unity of everything. It is a reminder that we are all connected and built from the same blueprint found throughout nature.

That is why it keeps finding its way into my work. I draw it, stencil it, bleach it into fabric and build it into the details of one-of-a-kind pieces. Every garment responds differently, but the geometry holds it all together.

Mushrooms, mushrooms everywhere

A too-light hoodie got dyed a deep clay-rust, then finished with a Flower of Life patch over the old brand logo it came with.

Cutting, hand-bleaching and patching every piece myself, start to finish. A few errors along the way, all part of learning.

Getting ready for festival season

Cape Town’s festival calendar means the line stays full, fresh dye jobs drying between builds most weekends.

Low light, tired eyes, one very determined seamstress. The unglamorous side of one-of-a-kind clothing.

New style incoming

Left-over fabric and cut-offs from other garments, snipped into a brand new lattice top. Nothing goes to waste.
